1. Overview
Vidsembly provides AI-powered tools that help users turn presentations, recordings, and documents into videos, transcripts, slide decks, and related media. Our platform includes tools such as Content to Video, Presentation to Video, Transcriber, and AI Deck Creator, along with related features that may change over time.
We also operate tools.vidsembly.com, which offers free browser-based utilities that do not require a Vidsembly account. Those tools are governed by these terms where applicable.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Vidsembly.
If you use Vidsembly on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
3. Accounts and Access
Some features require a Vidsembly account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
We may update, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, including tools that are in beta, preview, or maintenance.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Upload unlawful, offensive, confidential, or infringing content
- Upload any files you do not have permission to use
- Create, share, or use voice clones, voiceovers, or other AI-generated audio or media to impersonate someone without authorization, deceive others, commit fraud, harass, defame, threaten, or otherwise cause harm
- Misuse, disrupt, scrape, or reverse engineer the service
- Circumvent usage limits, credit systems, or access controls
- Violate any applicable laws or third-party rights
- Upload, generate, process, or distribute pornographic or sexually explicit material intended primarily for sexual arousal
- Upload, generate, process, or distribute content that sexualizes, exploits, depicts, or otherwise involves minors in sexual content in any way
- Upload, generate, process, or distribute content that depicts or promotes non-consensual sexual activity or sexual exploitation
- Upload, generate, process, or distribute content that facilitates fraud, scams, deception, extortion, or other illegal activity
- Upload, generate, process, or distribute content that contains credible threats, promotes serious violence, or facilitates harm to others
- Upload, generate, process, or distribute content that violates intellectual property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other third-party rights
- Upload, generate, process, or distribute content that violates applicable law or the acceptable-use requirements of third-party AI, voice, hosting, or processing providers used by Vidsembly
These restrictions do not prohibit legitimate educational, medical, documentary, news, safety, or similar contextual discussion merely because it references sexual, violent, or other sensitive subjects.
Vidsembly may automatically or manually refuse to process, restrict, remove, or disable access to content that violates these Terms, cannot be processed by our service providers, or creates legal, security, safety, or abuse risks. We may suspend or terminate accounts for serious or repeated violations. We do not undertake to review every upload or generated output, and nothing in these Terms creates an obligation to monitor user content.
5. User Content
You keep ownership of the files, videos, audio, transcripts, decks, and other content you upload or create in Vidsembly. You are responsible for ensuring that your content does not violate confidentiality obligations, privacy laws, or third-party rights.
By using Vidsembly, you grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display your content only as needed to provide and improve the service.
Uploaded files and project data remain in your account until you delete them or close your account, subject to our data retention practices described in our Privacy Policy.
6. AI-Generated Content
Vidsembly uses artificial intelligence to process inputs and generate outputs such as narration, transcripts, slide copy, video renders, and other media. AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your intended use.
You are responsible for reviewing all outputs before publishing, distributing, or relying on them. Vidsembly does not guarantee that AI-generated content will be error-free or compliant with laws, platform policies, or third-party rights.
Some inputs may not be supported by Vidsembly's AI tools or by the third-party processing providers we use. AI generation, narration, voice generation, or other processing may be refused or unavailable for certain content. Vidsembly does not guarantee that every uploaded file or piece of text can be processed by every feature.
7. AI-Generated Music
When available, the AI Soundtrack tool may generate music using AI models. Music generated through that tool is intended for use in your video projects, including commercial and monetized content, subject to these Terms and any restrictions shown in the product.
You may not redistribute or sell generated music as a standalone audio track or upload it to music streaming platforms as original audio. Availability of this feature may change over time.
8. Voice Cloning and AI Voiceover
Vidsembly may let you generate narration with library AI voices or create a voice clone from samples you provide. Free accounts include 1 voice clone; Pro and Elite include higher clone limits as shown in the product. Voice cloning and related voiceover features, including the AI Voice tool, are subject to credit usage and any limits shown in the product.
You represent that you have all rights and consents needed to upload voice samples and to create or use a voice clone — including for your own voice, and for any other person's voice only with their explicit permission. You may not create or use a voice clone to impersonate someone without authorization, to commit fraud, to harass or defame others, to cause emotional, financial, or other harm, or to violate applicable law.
You are solely responsible for how you create, store, share, and use voice clones and generated voiceover audio. Vidsembly does not endorse, monitor every use of, or assume liability for any misuse of voice cloning or AI voiceover features by you or anyone acting through your account. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe these features are being used for harmful or unlawful purposes.
Generated voiceover audio is intended for use in your Vidsembly projects and related content, subject to these Terms. Availability of voice cloning and library voices may change over time.
9. Plans, Credits, and Billing
Some features require credits or an active paid subscription. Current plans may include a free tier, Pro, and Elite options, along with monthly or yearly billing where offered.
- New accounts may receive a one-time allocation of free credits, as described on our pricing page.
- Paid plans include a monthly credit allowance. Credits included with your subscription refill up to your plan's monthly maximum.
- If you hold more credits than your plan's monthly amount, no refill will occur for that billing cycle.
- Unused credits do not expire while your account remains active, unless otherwise stated at purchase.
- Free-plan exports may include a watermark. Voice cloning is available on Free (1 voice clone), Pro (3), and Elite (5), subject to change. Paid plans may unlock additional features such as premium voices, higher export quality, or priority processing.
- Credit purchases and subscription payments are final. Refunds are issued only in cases of billing error or where required by law.
- Pricing, plan features, and credit costs may change with notice.
10. Marketing Communications
If you subscribe to our newsletter or other marketing emails through vidsembly.com, you consent to receive product updates and related communications. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in those emails.
11. Account Termination
You may stop using Vidsembly at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, misuse the platform, or create risk for Vidsembly or other users.
12. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vidsembly is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including any claim arising from your creation or use of voice clones, AI voiceovers, or other generated outputs, or from any harm caused by content you create, distribute, or misuse.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Vidsembly harmless from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your content, your use of voice cloning or AI voiceover features, or your violation of these terms or applicable law.
13. Updates to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated terms on this page and update the effective date. Continued use of Vidsembly after changes means you accept the updated terms.
