Frequently asked questions

Who should use AI Voice?

Anyone who needs a voiceover clip from a script — training intros, explainers, ads, course modules, or product demos — without recording in a studio or opening an audio editor.

What can I create with AI Voice?

Paste or upload a script, choose a library AI voice or your cloned voice, generate the narration, preview it, and export an audio clip you can use on its own or alongside other Vidsembly tools.

Can I use my own voice?

Yes. Free includes 1 voice clone, Pro includes 3, and Elite includes 5. Create a clone in the app, then use it in AI Voice and in other voiceover tools like Presentation to Video and Content to Video. You can also pick from free and premium library voices.

Do I need a microphone for every project?

No. Once you have a voice clone (or you use a library voice), you generate narration from text — no live recording for each clip.

Which languages are supported?

AI Voice supports 12 output languages for narration, with free and premium library voices you can preview before you export.

When are credits used?

Generating a voiceover uses credits based on the length of the audio produced, with a minimum of one credit. Creating or updating a voice clone also uses credits as shown in the product when you start the clone flow.

How is AI Voice different from Presentation to Video?

AI Voice is for voiceover clips from a script. Presentation to Video turns an existing PowerPoint or PDF into a full narrated video. Both can use library voices or your cloned voice.
